Mouthguard, gloves, headgear depending on the discipline. No gear, no mat.

Level & weight matched

You only spar partners at most one skill level and one weight class apart.

Supervised on the mat

A named, experienced supervisor sets pairings and stops a round when needed.

Stop means stop

A tap or stop signal ends the round immediately, no exceptions.
